The linkage agreements entered into so far were generally for the purposes of capacity building, infrastructural development, manpower in the areas of staff/student exchange, collaborative researches, library and resource materials and other identified areas of mutual benefits between the collaborating partners.
Several members of the academic and non-academic staff of the University have gone on staff exchanges to institutions in the United Kingdom and the USA, while the University, on the basis of reciprocity, has received visiting researchers and scholars from the institutions that its staff visited.The plan is in the pipeline to enter into more linkages with other institutions so that the University can tap from the experiences of reputable institutions worldwide.
